Love bakery. Authentically French! I made the trip down here simply for this bakery. No place to eat inside. Pastries are excellent and coffee is lovely. Not halal-friendly (has some vegetarian, but their meat is pig-based).

Stopped by on my way through Staunton and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the pastries here. The canele was so correct-- perfectly crisp exterior with a soft custard-like interior-- that I went in for 2 more. Also tried a tomato Danish and carrot muffin that were both delicious. If I wasn't traveling, I would have bought a loaf of bread as it all looked gorgeous and appetizing. I need the bakers here to know that they're creating art, and as a fellow professional baker I think they're doing incredible work. I'm going to carry the little joy of something seemingly simple like a perfect canele with me for a while. Thank you!

The bakery was fantastic! We had the chocolate croissant and the blueberry cruffin and it was amazing!! The coffee was also delicious

Reunion Bakery is pure cozy magic. The pumpkin cheesecake cruffin was straight-up perfection — flaky, creamy, and just the right amount of fall nostalgia without feeling basic. You bite in and it’s all layers of buttery pastry meeting that spiced pumpkin cheesecake filling — total masterpiece. The shelves are lined with gorgeous sourdough loaves that look like they belong in an art gallery. Every loaf feels like it has its own personality — rustic, tangy, beautiful. It’s one of those spots where you walk in for a pastry and walk out planning your next visit. Absolute must.

I love this little bakery. I only visit when I’m traveling, but I visit every time I am close. Really well prepared baked goods, excellent coffee, and genuinely nice people. I don’t think much more needs to be said. Go get some pastry and brighten your day!

Got the cookie butter latte (special) two days in a row. The flavor and quality are amazing. Equally as great as how they made the drink and how delicious it is is the amazing taste of the actual coffee itself.

Absolutely fantastic; when traveling we always 1st ask for best bakeries in a town. We hit pay dirt this time. Cappuccino and pastries on the bench day after Thanksgiving and breakfast this morning now in Florida finishing our trip from Maine. One picture is worth a thousand words; how about these three. French toast soaked overnight with raspberry jam, cherries and VT maple syrup. I'll wait to see who beats these pictures! Thank you! Ps, my gal is eating a almond chocolate croissant. Came again on way back to Maine; ordered 7 croissant loaves for friends plus and enjoyed quiche and cappuccino for breakfast! A hidden gem!!!

If I didn't already call Staunton home, Reunion would be one of those places I'd plan day trips around just to get my canelé fix. But since I am lucky enough to live close by, I get to enjoy my little boulangerie on a regular basis. Anyone that looks at me, on first glance, can make the correct assumption that I'm a connoisseur of fine, butter rich foods. I've tasted croissants here, there, and everywhere across the US and I've yet to find a better selection and quality of Viennoiseries than what Reunion artfully crafts. Depending on the time you arrive, there may be a line to get your hands on those flaky, buttery little works of art. But it moves fast in no small part due to Reunion's world-class staff and is *always* worth the wait. I've waited on much longer lines for Dominique Ansel cronuts, and after experiencing that, I'd wait on line for twice the amount of time for even the most basic offerings at Reunion. Not to knock any of the great bakeries in Charlottesville, but if you're looking for a truly authentic French bakery experience, you'll find it over the mountain in Downtown Staunton. Staunton has become a culinary destination, ranging from world-class gastronomic gems like Maude and the Bear to the Split Banana. Reunion is a crown jewel for Virginia's Queen City. If you're visiting from out of town or just passing through, Reunion is easily worth a stop.

We got an iced matcha latte, a London fog latte, and an almond chocolate croissant — all were delicious! My matcha didn’t seem to have a ton of flavoring from the syrup I added (cinnamon brown sugar) but it was still tasty. They also have (what appear to be) homemade dog biscuits by the entrance, and they brought out a water bowl for my pup! Plus they have a doggy doorbell so if you go by solo and have a dog, one of them will come wait with your dog (I didn’t personally use this option though!). Staff were super friendly and helpful as well. A great start to our day in Staunton!
